CYS Enterprises is currently seeking a hardworking, self-motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a full-time Industrial Cleaner, in Eielson AFB, Alaska. Only a short commute from North Pole!

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of all horizontal and vertical surfaces, including: walls, floors, stairwells, structural beams, piping, ducts, generators, equipment, and control panels. This involves removal of coal/ash dust, grease, and oil from all surfaces.
• Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and shampooing. This includes the use and care of floor cleaning machines.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners. Clean receptacles, as necessary.
• Dust and wipe down high and low surfaces.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean and sanitize drinking fountains.
• Perform emergency or non-routine cleaning, as necessary.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle standard cleaning equipment and machinery
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
• Ability to take initiative and work well under minimal supervision
• Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary
• Current ID or Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Approved/Eligible for access to Eielson AFB

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM (excluding holidays)

Salary

Starting at $19.27 per hour + Health and Welfare ($5.09 per hour)
