Join Our Team: HVAC Outside Sales Representative

About Us:

Gateway Supply is a leading provider of HVAC and plumbing supplies, dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, promoting workplace safety, and supporting growth through innovation and teamwork. We’re seeking a motivated HVAC Outside Sales Representative to join our team and support HVAC contractors throughout the Ridgeland, SC area.

About the Role:

As part of our Outside Sales team, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with HVAC contractors across the Bluffton market. This is a customer-focused role where your organization, follow-through, and product knowledge help customers get what they need quickly and correctly.

Our Expectations:

• Build strong customer relationships by identifying new opportunities and growing existing accounts through consistent engagement and follow-up
• Understand customer needs using Gateway Supply’s full offering and vendor partnerships to recommend the right solutions for the job
• Facilitate purchases and deliveries by coordinating with internal teams (inside sales, purchasing, and delivery) to support efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
• Stay current on product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activity to position Gateway Supply as a trusted supplier
• Track sales performance and meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of outside sales experience in the HVAC supply industry (required)
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems is a plus
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred

Schedule / Work Location:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
