Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for individuals calling or visiting Generations Ashe.
Answer questions, assist with client intake, and connect individuals with appropriate programs and community resources.
Help implement and coordinate programmatic strategic plans , including timelines, action items, follow-up, and progress tracking.
Work with program staff and leadership to move new initiatives and programs from planning to implementation.
Manage Generations Ashe's social media pages, including creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content.
Develop promotional materials, newsletters, flyers, website content, and other communications.
Help promote programs, services, events, and fundraising initiatives.
Build relationships with community organizations, businesses, and other community partners.
Represent Generations Ashe at community events and outreach opportunities.
Assist with planning and coordination of programs, events, and special projects.
Maintain appropriate documentation and provide updates to leadership on assigned initiatives.
Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and project-management skills.
Experience with social media and digital content creation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help people.
Experience in nonprofit, community outreach, communications, program coordination, or a related field preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common social media platforms.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small administrative and program team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for community events and outreach.
